Abstract: In order to explore the impact of different levels of gratitude on the arousal of positive emotions and moral judgment
standards, this study uses questionnaires regarding gratitude(GRAT)and emotion(PANS), together with behavior recall paradigms,
to compare the intensity of positive emotions and moral judgment standards of different individuals. It was found that individuals with a
high level of gratitude were more likely to have positive emotions, and being in a state of positive emotions would make participants'
judgments more moral and more tolerant. Gratitude traits affect the role of positive emotions. Individuals with low levels of gratitude are
more likely to be affected by positive emotions. The results support the dual processing theory of moral judgments and provide a certain
reference value for the moral education and intervention of college students.
